My Grandpa

As the eldest grandchild, I had the benefit of spending a lot of time with my grandpa. Grandpa loved to clean. Every time I went over to his home, I would hear that he had “just cleaned the floors”. And so … my dad loves to clean. I love to clean. Even my 4 year old son loves to clean. Can you guess where we all got this from?

Grandpa always told me he was proud of me and he followed through with actions. He flew over to Canada to watch me graduate from university. He flew over again to watch me get married. He flew over one last time to witness a branch opening for my business.

Even though I continued to grow older, I’ve always felt that my grandpa never really changed. Besides maintaining a timeless full head of hair, he always showed me that God was first in his life. He made it a priority for us to know Jesus and that’s why I know and love Jesus Christ today.

Grandpa, thank you for giving me life on earth and more importantly, the opportunity for everlasting life in Jesus Christ.

See you again in Heaven!
